The SurfingSafer team are made up of a small number of information security professionals trying to provide practical advice to all.   We are always asked by friends and family if we can recommend a good Anti-Virus product, or a firewall, and so on.

Unfortunately we can only provide advice on products we have used, which individually is quite narrow.  However between us, our knowledge covers most of the best known solutions out there.

This website reflects that, and hopefully with comments from you, we can build a repository of user experiences. 

We don't make money from vendor referrals.  That means you can be assured we won't recommend a product just because we may get 10% from your purchase.
